A little about Normandy............Established in 1988, Normandy is a neighborhood of 169 single family homes adjacent to the master-planned Community of Harbor Bay Isle in Alameda, California and shares the area's water and recreation-oriented lifestyle. Inspired by the seaside villages of France, Normandy evokes images of a family-oriented, parklike village, with many beautiful trees, flowers blooming in window boxes, and charming homes filled with light and warmth. The neighborhood features its own pool, RV Lot and park. Kids play ball in the park, which is also used by the Association for community events, Easter Egg Hunts, May Pole dancing, picnics, etc. Normandy is close to schools, shopping, recreation facilities, AC Transit and Bart, all within easy bicycling distances to the Harbor Bay Business Park and downtown Alameda.
